Shopping online is great, it's fun, but it's also a game of chance sometimes isn't? Especially when you're purchasing fabrics. I love those online shops that offer fabric samples/swatches, it makes you feel more secure, helps you to choose the fabric you want instead of what you thought you saw in that thumbnail. But there is one thing in the process you have no control over and that's...How/who/what is cutting your fabric. After receiving a couple of crooked cuts of fabric purchases I learned straight away to order a little more. This way when they decide to do the infamous "lopsided-snip-on-the-weft-and-tear" thingy I'll have more than I need for my project to cut the fabric even. So yes, that's my tip for the day...ordering fabric online? if you can, buy more than what you need!
